They are asian ladybugs released in america to help benefit crops. They have no natural predators in america so they become over populated. In the fall and winter they seek warm areas, usually peoples homes.
I hate these things... big time. I want them banned from the us and I want alternative methods found to help the crops.
LOL! When I was staying at my grandparents' house one time during the winter, there were a few ladybugs crawling on the walls of one of the small bathrooms...:P
I can understand why mass ladybugs is annoying. One's is cool, it won't "bug" ya. But a thousand+ of them? GTFO!
Some tips I learned:
If they found refuge in your house, they just wanna find a place to sleep, usually from winters. They WON'T reproduce, just hibernate.
They'll probably find a nice place to do that, mostly in the attic. They'll fly away, once the temp warms up, open the windows.
If you squash them, bad move as their corpses will leave an unbelievable stench!
