To be honest, nothing's 'wrong,' at all. Our ancestors, when butchering animals for food, used every part they could; it was a NECESSITY. Meat for food, skin for clothing, bones for tools. Hey, look at sausage, bologna, hot dogs, headcheese, souse, scrapple, goetta; they're all 'what's left over.' THIS, however, is what we DON'T usually see. It's the part of "Ee-i, ee-i, o" that makes us say, "Oh." We, as consumers, are so far removed from the process of production that it shocks us.
