But it is still two simultaneous rhythms.

@silvano751 Its actually in both.
7/4 and 4/4.
The melody as you can see starts out in a descending 4 note pattern (4/4) but the drums are in 7/4.
So the hand wants to sync with the ear. And the ear is picking out the 4/4 because it's used to it (like you previously mentioned).
They're called "polyrythms"(several simultaneous time signatures), or in this case a simpler term would be a "polymeter" (several simultaneous time signatures with the same tempo.)

Disco beats on yellow are awful. Have you tried playing them in Guitar Hero? Are you seriously arguing that you should cross your right hand over your left to hit your snare?
