Well, we could barley pull of Spidey in the 70's So there's no way we could have probally done an full on X-Men. But awesome to think about.

Marvel did a clone Spider-Man story back in the mid 1970s which when it was continued a couple of decades later in the 1990s really soured fandom on Spider-Man for a while. It was only marginally better written than this 1978 Spider-Man TV show episode.
