Don't ever go to an SM or (fingers crossed) Pavement live show, because literally NONE of the songs will sound the way YOU think they should. SM tries to make each performance as unique as possible.

You're absolutely right, Pavement Live and Pavement Recorded are two completely different things, both rock hard :)
