If programed correctly the Amstrad is actually more powerful than a potato

the amstrad was probably the best all round 8 bit about in the 80's.
never ever reached its potential till the 8 bit market was in steep decline.
britain suffered from speccy mainia, though keenly priced for its time.
it wasn't really a good computer, couldnt come close to say a 1979 atari 800 for example.
but all the software development seam to be speccy based, so everyone got awful speccy ports.
not dissing speccys, i have one and they have a certain charm, but a good computer they are not!

Very good graphics,16 colours, big sprites ,and real fast game. In fact ,too fast ...in my opinion there are too many enemies on screen at once and moving too fast. The original Operation Wolf game on the CPC was more balanced than this.

spastic game

Much better than the C64 version, not a bad conversion atall.
-
A fairly solid conversion making good
use of the Amstrad's palette, and lots of big sprites. Although that stripey road's a bit off, should have gone for a single colour.
-
Looks a lot more colorful and playable compared with the crappy c64 version.
-
wow its call of duty for the gulf war 1 genreation
-
lol... it does... who needs HD! :-)

The Spectrum version had more detail, but the CPC had much better colouring. Both versions played the same and even the CPC sound is the same as the 128k Speccy version.
Considering this was an Amstrad, this looks BOSS!
