You can do fine with a handgun. Do you need an AK-47 or a AR-15 to defend yourself? Just asking. I'm not attacking or insulting your intelligence here. I'm in no way anti-gun, contrary, I'm actually quite fond of guns. I'm planning on joining a gunclub soon. But come on man, something has to be done. Ban guns? Ofcourse not. But to make it that easy for people to obtain killer machines like the rifles I've mentioned earlier? Come man, think about it.

Anyone who ants to arrest the people is crazy :P Friends of mine own guns mainly, bolt action and semi auto rifles, (we're in Canada) and they are good people. But light machine guns and fully auto rifles with huge clips are over the top. In Australia they made it that when the owner's (their guns are registered) son must hand the gun to the gov and i dont know what they do with them :P

That happened through the ignorance of the family. They didn't show the child the dangers of firearms, or put it in a safe place that the child wouldn't get to. Once again, I am not disagreeing with a lot of what you are saying. But i do not believe that making guns illegal would help our problem. During the prohibition more people drank alcohol than before or after it. Same effect.

Um... yes. I heard it was closer to three however, but I won't disregard the possibility of her having that amount of firearms in her home. However, I do believe that having 12 guns in your home would at least increase the likelihood of of survival. Incredibly enough. Now I do see your point. We should do something. But i don't see how "arresting everyone with guns" or taking them will help. Where would we put them? You also have to think of the illegal gun trade that would happen. Same as drugs

Oh and I'm sure you know the mother on the shooter had 12 guns in her home. So you must believe that if a man came into her home with a gun, she would be able to shoot him first.......

You are so so so so wrong man. Your stupid ideology is getting people killed. Please stop.

Did you hear in the about the 3 year old boy that accidentally shot him self with a gun in side a family members bedroom?

How did that gun keep that little boy safe?

If that family didnt own a gun that boy would be alive.

And what if they do? Does your insurance agency cover human lives? Maybe your family gets hurt(or even worse) and lets hope and pray that it doesn't, but if they do, can you feel better at the end of the day because you have insurance?

You're right and these people are insane. They think police and the government will protect them and that thier families will never be in danger.
