So the RX-7 was not stock it just was having bad problems and now its running great.

Just so everyone knows... The FD is not stock and has a round 400hp. It was running to lean though and it would cut out the engine and not let the turbos even work. due to this, it ran again about a month after this video and raced a STi and blew the motor. So after getting the 13b rebuilt by RotaryPower USA and put back together it was then tuned by Ricks Rotary. Now that the car is finaly running smooth it was raced again, missed 3rd gear, and still ran 13 flat.

@LandonGear it's funny u say that as I was reading and saw the leaning out it reminded me of my turbo type r it was leaning out getting fuel cut so I fixed it got it tuned 2 weeks later it blew while in a light race half gassing 5 th and still winning then poof smoke and oil every where and I kinda new that was gonna be the out come cuz all it takes is 1 mess up like that on a rotary to kiss it good bye love rotaries to death but very tedious to maintain or else it always ends bad

I mean if you feel good about running/beating a car that isn't running correctly, more power to you. There are quite a few all motor 12a cars that could probably wreck this hatch. Its all about the build really.

That was a good high 13 second 1/4 mile. Not that quick. And yes the dude in the rx7 cant drive to be that far behind a high 13 second car.

WHen a rotary misses it pretty much doesn't run so I see why it lost. You have a pretty bad ass car though. Try being a little less rough on the shifting and you might get a little faster. It's like your so stiff and really having to slam it into gears.
