The Legend of Zelda The Wind Waker Heart Pieces Guide #8 Lets Populate Windfall With Flowers!

Please do read the description for info on how to obtain the heart piece(s) located in this area of which I am covering.

This is a handy little Heart Piece Guide that I am going to use to help any of you Wind Waker players. Though it isn't required to pass Zelda, you will at the end have 20 Hearts and be able to take a lot of damage. Hope this Guide will help you on heart hunting. Enjoy ^^

Place: Windfall Island (get here by warping using ballad of gales)

Dragon Roost Island (get here by warping using ballad of gales)

Heart Pieces in all: 44

Heart Pieces Total on Windfall Island 9 (includes treasure charts)

Dragon Roost: 2

Heart Pieces obtained in this video: 3

How to obtain the heart piece(s): To obtain the first Heart Piece talk to the Rito outside the chief's room and show him 20 Golden Feathers (they can be easily obtained by heading to the spot where the bird has a key in its nest in Dragon Roost Cavern). Head to a mailbox the next day (or night). To obtain the second one, play the mail-sorting game a couple times and when you beat the 25 letter one leave and then come back. Talk to the guy (aka the new part-time helper) and he'll ask you to show off your 25 letter skills. Once you do that mail his letter (there is a "cash on demand" thing its 10 Rupees) and go to the next day (or night). To obtain the final one, head to Windfall Island and buy Town Flowers (10 Rupees) and place them in the brown stalls (make sure you have some cash). all over Windfall. After that talk to the guy sitting on the bench and you'll get your reward.

You don't have to place that many town flowers to get the heart. I only did the ones that were outside (12 total) and got the heart. It might be that you only need to place 12 or it might be that you only need to fill up the ones outside of buildings. I've never tested to see which. That will save a LOT of time running around.

@TheRyno421 you need to complete the challenge of geting 25 mails into the right slot in 30 secs then he auyomaticly shows up!
