As Occupy Wall Street demonstrations enter their second week, over 80 people were arrested over the weekend and police brutality surges on the streets. Many protesters say the mainstream media is undergoing a black-out since many corporate networks sleep in the same bed with Wall Street.

  • @LordAkira you should've seen the sarcasm in my comment

  • Why no Occupy protest reports from Russia?

The channel is called Russia Today RT

Cronyism in Russia is really bad.So is this channel operating under some old cold war idea of only reporting on institutionized corruption outside it's own boundaries.Yeah I know about some anti Putin protests.

Why is it this channel nailing it better than others about corporate control of gov. policy for private gain in the western world but not talking about Russian corporate dominance of their own goverment?

  • the fucking ppl know what happens if they demenstrate! so why fucking cry about it!!!! fucking retards!

  • @BBallinManiac Yea because democracy is all about pepper sprays, tasers, batons - eventually it'll come to a head. Right now, USA is a powder keg - Occupy is a fuse, and all we need is an event to light the spark and cause the whole thing to explode . Then your average american, not just the activist or protester, will get up, get out, and they will storm Capitol Hill in their millions.

  • @BBallinManiac I know that. The democracy index is compiled by the economist intellegence unit. I didnt name it.

  • The guy at 0:36 is reading his lines and/or being prompted.

  • @footballpwnageperson There have been no police reports to suggest that the protesters were violent. Yes I just looked it up. Plus until there's evidence of illegal acts on the protester's part, we will have to assume that the police were brutal

  • @T662W379C We're not even a democracy, we're a republic.
