Our next topic is Subscription Authorization. Access this feature on the tool, by going in through the Main Menu and then tap Software Updates to check the subscriptions available. Here we see the subscriptions available. The same process is used for activating an application for the first time as is used for updating an expired subscription.

You must be connected to the internet to authorize your subscription on the tool. Enter the subscription request code found on the back of the card you were sent for the particular subscription you purchased. Everything that happens after you enter the request code is seamless, your subscription will automatically be authorized through the tool.

The second way to authorize your subscription would be by entering the request code from the card at the internet site or calling customer service and giving them your request code. Enter the access code you are given from the internet or customer service to authorize your subscription. When connected to the internet, hitting submit verifies that the access code is good and you can send it to the web server and your subscription will be authorized.
