The song is still in the game. They just removed the lyrics.

This is what SONY said:
"During the review process prior to the release of LittleBigPlanet, it has been brought to our attention that one of the background music tracks licensed from a record label for use in the game contains two expressions that can be found in the Qur'an. We have taken immediate action to rectify this and we sincerely apologise for any offence that this may have caused. We will confirm the new launch date shortly."

The controversial lyrics and translations are:

"كل نفس ذائقة الموت" ("kollo nafsin tha'iqatol mawt", literally: 'Every soul shall have the taste of death').

"كل من عليها فان" ("kollo man alaiha fan", literally: 'All that is on earth will perish').

I think the motive of this song this song extends beyond how some people may interpret it's meaning in a different context.

The song is very emotional and can be opened to many deep interpretations, just think of those lyrics, absorb the music in, and just roam through the land of Little Big Planet. Sackboy is in this never ending exploration, and everytime he explores he always tastes death at least once, we don't know when he's going to stop but eventually, the Earth will perish, leading to his exploring ends.
