En Ingles: "American Hardcore: The History of American Punk Rock 1980-1986" Documentary. American Hardcore es un documental dirigido por Paul Rachman y escrito por Steven Blush. Se basa en el libro "American Hardcore: Una Historia Tribal" también escrita por Blush.

Esta película documental aborda el nacimiento y evolución del hardcore punk rock desde 1978 hasta 1986 (aunque el su presentacion dice 1980-1986). El documental cuenta con extenso material sucedido durante el apogeo del movimiento hardcore asi como exclusivas con artistas de principios del mismo, de bandas como Black Flag, Minor Threat, Bad Brains, D.O.A., The Minutemen, SS Decontrol entre otros.
Fue lanzado en DVD por Sony Pictures Home Entertainment el 20 de febrero de 2007 con Edicion Limitada. [ You [Tube] ] ( * )
