as always thanks for viewing this video and my channel. this is a comparison between the epic 4g and the touch pro 2 keyboards. there are only slight differences but these differences together can make or break a keyboard for a person. if you have any further questions feel free to ask in the comments below and i will get an answer or video done for you if videos is necessary.

  • on the epic 4g does the slider part scratch the keys on 5,6,t,y,g,h,v,b,and space bar couse they scratch when i slide it open

  • @Miguel93535 thanks for the response and heard after making this video that they were notorious for doing that when the slide mechanism got a little loose.

  • @ongjared are oyu hard on your keyboard like press the keys with some aggression? either way they wont replace or repair at the sprint repair centers unless the keys are sticking from wear or the keyboard stops working completely. i killed only 1 keyboard from use and i average around 6000-10000 texts a month usuall. (work 2nd shift and cant talk on the phone so text it all out haha)

  • @iamdasht19 ive only had the phone for 3 or 4 months. i bought it new

  • @ongjared not without getting it replaced..... you could try blow it out with compressed air or sometihng but if still does it when nothing caught in there it would be impossible to silence.... with age comes noise... it would be like asking someone to type quietly on one of those 1991 keyboards that sound like a jet plane is taking off.

  • @iamdasht19 is there anything I can do to make it sound less annoying in the mean time?

  • @ongjared its starting to get worn out... they wont do anyyhing on it at sprint until it stops working completely and thats if you have TEP insurance.

  • my tp2 is making plasticky sounds when I start to click the buttons on the slide out keyboard. any help?

  • @KoolCordell right ill agree with you there but the larger screen on the epic and the better processor makes typing a breeze without lag... you can than go swype as well if you choose or the droid x multi touch keyoboard as well..... the evo opens all new doors and honeslty it is easy to type on the evo.

  • @iamdasht19 LOL no but the tp2 was not really designed to be a consumer device it was geared towards corporate users. Apparently they type up reports while waiting in traffic or something. But I am stuck between the evo and the epic on one hand i miss my hard qwerty but i think that is only because my hero has that redicilious lag when you type. it is like orig iphone status; so annoying, i liked the vurital on the TP2 way better than the one on my hero.
