- During Mr. Gay Europe, you did meet other gay from Europe, with sometimes totally different acceptation of homosexuality in their country like in Norway or in Palestinia. What is your most important recollection of this event, what touched you and what changed in you after this contest?

Kamil:I think been in the competition open my easy for other countries issues that I didnt understand or wasnt familiar with it. Been on stage with Palestinian was great and I admiring him for his courage to stand up and say: Im gay, so what? You can be killed in his country and even back in Norway there is a neighbourhood where gay couple was attacked by Palestinian people, so experience of Mr. Gay Europe change me a lot. Make me stronger and give courage to be not afraid who am I and that Im gay even around of people who dont accept it. Im looking forward for Mr. Gay World now; I think Im well prepared for it.

- Did you set up project with your home country Poland since Mr Gay Europe? As Warsaw will be the location for next Euro pride, do you have any project or ideas as Mr Gay Poland?

Kamil:After Mr. Gay Europe there was a big debate about Mr. Gay competition back in Poland and there ware couple people interested about run it there, because as you might remember I wasnt elected by choice in Poland. I just represented by registration on Mr. Gay Europe website. I have lots of ideas about how to make a Mr. Gay competition in Poland and Im all the time in negotiations with people who can help me back in Poland, so fingers cross and hopefully next Mr. Gay Poland will go for Mr. Gay Europe in 2010. Im looking forward for Euro parade which will be on mid June in Warsaw and I do everything I can to be there and parade with everyone with my sash on me!

- Worldwide Mr Gay will take place in the coming day. Are you prepared for this contest? What is the message you won't to spread during the contest?


Kamil:I think this time I be more open and more yourself, because last time on Mr. Gay Europe I was very nervous about the whole thing. I know is bigger competition right now but I know what to expect and I meet couple of contestants over Internet or like Argentina, Ireland, North Ireland in person. The message that I have or maybe what I will like to people think about it is that you can be yourself, unemployed, completely broke and still stand out for gay right and be proud of been gay. You see I dont work right now, dont have much finance to manage with but I still do everything to show some people that gay people are the same and we are not afraid! I think some people can personalize with me so I hope maybe someone will think that as well, just remember to be yourself!
