She's a 1958 Silver Cloud named Good-Bad. Longhorns on the grille. Paint looks like broken plaster. She was my daily driver for 10 years.
The experts said: "You're flogging a dead horse, George. She's going downhill and acceleratin'."
I said, "Can't I just put her up on blocks and work on her for the rest of my life?"
He said, "I don't think they make lifetimes that long."
She cruised from Austin to San Diego at 75 MPH, and hit 100MPH uphill in the desert. Plenty of room left under the accelerator, too.
Worlds. Best. Car.
