This might be dumb, but what kind of stitches do I need to know to do this? So far, all I know is casting on and the knit stitch. Should I learn others before attempting to do this?
You're all set. Knitting in the round on circular needles is all knit. All you need to know is how to bind off. Watch my videos on binding off. Good luck!
I finished, thanks! There are a couple stitched that are a bit stretched out, and it's a little big, but other than that, I'm proud of it, it's not bad for my first shot :)
ah! that's maker perfect sense! when my mom does for exemple, a sweater, she uses this kind of needles, but she makes the front side and then the back side. and since i'm starting, I see people doing everything with this needles! now I know how to do it : ) thanks!
Yes, but you will have to have a seam up the back. On circular if string is too long use Magic Loop method. Watch my video on How to make fingerless gloves. I used a long circular for very few stitches. good luck.
