I assume, you don't know many vegetarians, but most of them are healthy and active. I don't really know what has good looks have to do here though.

Yes - it is about what you eat, as well as how much you eat. A person eating good quality food will be much better off than someone eating crappy low quality food.

However I am not buying the whole 'vegetarian' spin... forget that!! How many healthy, active, good looking vegetarians are there out there? Not many!

This is a very narrow view of unhealthy eating. Its not so much about what you eat, as it is about how much of it you eat. Eat too much of anything and its gonna be bad for you, some things, of course, you can eat more of and still stay healthy. So long as you count your calories, exercise, and try and eat balanced meals most days you'll be fine (of course, this doesn't apply to people with certain ailments ex. diabetes)

I was like you and thought that too. But the assumption that meat is the only source of protein has been perpertuated as true by companies who *sell* meat products. As you can see, this is a conflict of interest. Simply put, meat proteins are not utilized or absorbed well in humans. However, plant proteins (aka amino acids) are :)

You do realize that there are tons of ways to get protein...without eating meat, right? Also, you don't have to go "all the way", you can become a pescatarian :D.

Wholemeal? You've been eating out of Subway's hands. ENRICHED=NOT WHOLE&it's full of corn/glucose syrups&soy. Get SOY out of your diet and you'll have a better long-term outlook. Ever considered investigating what is actually "natural" to humans, ie what made us develop such high-processing brains? Hunter-gatherers were healthier, disease-free, old&omnivorous-MEAT made us advance. Agriculture's the REAL killer-ag is very young&disease-bringing.Diet adaptations need THOUSANDS of yrs.

Even if you eat Mcdonalds only once in a while, that is to much. The person who made the video isn't confused, you are! 32% of kids are fat... that is super gross! America NEEDS TO START EATING BETTER! Things like this happen, just ask my dead grandfather who died of obesity. He was only 60! He had eaten McDonalds about once a month. Other than that he ate healthy because he was a FRICKEN ORGANIC FARMER! Once in a while is still to much. THUMBS IF YOU AGREE!
