Early on a February morning in 2009 in the township of San Pedro Chenalhó, Chiapas Lucia Pérez Pérez and her mother, Angélica and eldest daughters, Angelika María and María del Carmen, make tortillas for the men and children in their family.
tzotzil that they speak from los altos de chiapas it"s really great that they haven"t loos they tradicione and to know that part of the mayas still live and peoples like you are to know about them.
@9Celena It's one of the many indigenous languages that exists in the southern regions of México (Oaxaca, Chiapas, Guerrero); due to the variety of these languages it's hard to tell exactly which one is being used here (at least for inexpert people like me), alghough you can get an idea by taking a look at the "Languages of México" article in wikipedia or even better, especialized bibliography.
The video is great, thank you for uploading. Where you there doing research ? I just want to ask if the comal is made of steel ? It looks very white on the top. Thank you.
