I totally agree about the rings. TRX is just a gym gimmick that has 90% of the good points of the traditional counterparts they are mimicking.
Always someone out there trying to sell average gym users equipment that the professional sports world has utilized for decades, but put about an extra £100 on the price AND make it less practical...
At the end of the day, the strongest athletes in the world - as justus005 stated - use the most basic equipment possible... They just train like beasts!

@fourcorneredroom You can't do it all on blast straps like rings. And you do not see the strongest athletes in the world using blast straps bud. Rings are simple, tried and true.

I disagree with the vid.
I own the blast straps, which I think are superior to both rings and trx.
Trx is good though.........very light weight, very versatile....
just have a very high price but to me, they are a better value than just gym rings.

@fourcorneredroom You're totally welcome to your opinions. I'm sure the makers of TRX think it's the ultimate. Same with blast straps.
Really, it all comes down to you goals. If you have the goals we mention in the video, our opinion is that rings are a great tool.
