(sorry to carry on from mine bellow)** nature of Shane, as she is the only one in the group at this point trying to get friendly with him. Also kinda gives off the 'get over yourself' feeling to Max, which he needs.

They should have kept this in. It doesn't do that much but there are not many scenes early on between Shane and Max where they talk to each-other and get alone well, in fact the only memorable scene is where Shane defends Jenny when Max grabs her arm. Which wasn't the best friend sorta scene.
Also I never thought that Shane never thanked Maxed enough as she normally would one of her friends, when Max looked after Shay while Shane went out.
It's a really sweet scene, and it's shows the good na

totally agree! She was just bad... I like that she becomes a man and stuff, but only if it was another actor. I mean, what was going threw their heads when they gave her the part?!
-
I couldn't agree more, it was a big mistake giving her a part, she couldn't act if her life depended on it.
-
She cannot act at all, she's rubbish, I cringe with embarrassment every scene she's in. I've seen her in another film called short bus (? title) and she was crap in that too!
-
I cannot believe how bad Daniela is at acting, she's always the same no matter what emotion/situation she's experiencing...wooden and one dimensional. Big mistake giving her a part on this show...huge!It's really lowered the credibility.

she can totally act. max is supposed to be awkward.

Umm...trangenders like to be referred as the gender they feel they are. Go up to a transgender who is becoming a male and call her "she" and pay attention to the insulted and disgusted look they give you. So...to an open-minded person, which I hope is the kind watching this show...it's a man.
