  • @zypp33 thanks for commenting and you are absolutely right- practically all motorcycle skills take time to master and i agree that testing the rider's understanding is vital- in case their understanding is different to the principles being taught.

    there is little point simply demonstrating certain techniques without an objective overview- hence why it is so important to have an instructor cast an encouraging yet constructively critical eye on your riding

  • instinctive / reactive positioning frequently takes students some time to master. Showing by example like this is one of the best ways, as long as there is frequent dialogue to test their understanding of each situation and why, for instance, 2 similar corners may be approached/taken in different positions.
