２０１１年３月２５日震災後２週間

地震が起きてから２週間が経ちました。
これまで色々なことが起こりました。
東北、関東の状況など情報を提供したいと思います。

It's been about 2 weeks since the earthquake and there are still problems in the North East and in the Kanto area. We would like to give you a report and new information.

震災による死者は９０００人。
行方不明者が１３０００人。
一日に何回も余震がある日が毎日続いています。
だいたい、M４〜５くらいのレベルです。

Since the earthquake happened, there have been 9000 deaths. People who are still missing amounts to 13,000. They haven't been found yet.
In Eastern Japan, they have daily earthquakes with the magnitude of about 5.0.

原子力発電所の問題はまだ解決していません。
３つの問題があります。
１つ目は、海水を注入して温度の調整が出来るけれど、もっと水を注入しなければならず、ハイパーレスキュー（消防車）を使って注入。
距離が足りないから、キリンみたいな機械で直に水をかける方法で注入しています。

Another existing problem is the nuclear power plant.
The high temperatures were reduced with the help of firemen.
At first, the truck's water pumps weren't strong enough to spray water into the buildings. However, with other special trucks, water is being pumped directly into the buildings, cooling the reactors, thankfully.

２つ目は原発の３号機の制御室に電源が通った。
もしかしたら、原子炉の温度調整が出来るかも？

The second problem they had was establishing power. Now they have successfully, made power control station, for building #3. If they can control the power and redirect it. However, will they be successful?

３つ目は大きな問題になっています。
原子炉から放射能が漏れています。
放射能は目に見えないので人体にどんな影響が出るか心配です。

The 3rd problem is radiation. People are unsure if it is a serious problem or not. Many people are worried.

There have been many different countries totaling to 116, organizations and groups supporting Japan a lot. The Japanese people are very happy and truly grateful.

聾者に対する情報格差、
テレビをみても話が分からない、字幕がない。
聾者の為に役に立つ情報を提供している団体が６つあります。

There have been many Deaf people in Japan and around the world, concerned about getting information. Many groups have established videos in sign language and worked hard. We would like to thank these 6 groups.
