  • The SXT is the same bullet as the old black talon right? Just not painted black....

  • I think you are correct. From what I understand it is the same without the coating. The newer generation that has been updated is the Ranger-T series.

  • Nice videos man...

  • Thanks!

  • i carry these n my ruger p95...put over 500 round thru it without a hitch. Some say the 147 isn't a good round but nobody would stand down range to let me take a shot.

  • @Andreleger2001 These are the "Supreme" SXTs. I have read the "supreme" version is for civilians. It has 8 petals. I've read it is completely non-related to the controversial SXT/Black Talon/Ranger-T. The non-"supreme" SXT is supposed to be the real deal... Which has 6 petals. That would explain the mediocre results. It's something interesting that I learned tonight.

  • What did koolade ever do to you? Lol

  • i have p95 to i love try a 124 grain u might like it still fast with a lil more bullet than the 115 grain try gold dot bullets to

  • bonded pdx1 +p is what i prefer

  • arguments all seem to be that the bullet weight is so much, it flies too slow for proper expansion.. but I don't see much expansion problems here.. the only problem is the jacket comes off, but that doesn't bother me as long as the bullet expands and the bits don't exit the perp...

if your barrel is anything like 4", you will get satisfactory expansion with SXT.. only the real mini guns with really short barrels will fling it too slowly downrange... that's the way I see it after seeing tests
