@alwaysopen I compete in k9 weight pulling and my boxer is out pulling alot of the pits. At age 1 he was already pulling 800 pounds on sled in snow, Which is 10x harder then those rail systems most pit owners use and with minimal training. My boxer also can climb almost verticlly up a roof ladder onto the roof of my house, he swims better then a lot of water dogs I know and also does water decoy retival. But I would say pits have the most gameness out of the box of any breed out there.

I have owned both and my last Amstaff - basically a pit - was a pure natural athlete that only a specially trained boxer could have kept up with. I am 6'1" and 230lbs. He was 60lbs able to pull me around easily if I gave him the chance as he was pure muscle. Go find some thick boxers and pits and ask the owners if you can walk it on a leash. You will find out who has the strength.
