  • Everyone clapped for pitino, gillispie, and pelphrey but not for joe b hall-what gives?

  • IMO...I think no one wanted to clap at first since it was a memorial service. But everyone may have felt like they had to clap for Pitino, given the situation. So, I believe that led to clapping for the speakers following Pitino.

  • i just bawled my eyes out. yes im drunk but i cant help but realize how much mr. keightley influenced so many people

  • Yeah you're right. He also want his Wildcats to win.

  • I was at the service, and I completely agree with your assessment. There were a lot of people in the crowd that you could clearly tell they wanted to clap for everything and yet no one else was, so they didn't either.

Once the seal was broken, it got easier, but if I recall the speaker right after Pitino didn't get clapping either.. other did though.

  • I agree. Usually you would not clap, but Rick broke the ice and made people laugh. He made everyone realize Mr. Keightley would want it that way.
