You can download Stickman 5.6 here:
http://www.cutoutpro.com/download.html

This video shows how to use Photoshop or GIMP with Elemento.
Elemento has an intelligent exporter that remembers the names of the layers, so you don't have to setup the figure each time you make changes to it in Photoshop.

It also shows you how to save your figures in the packages directory to get them in the add figure dialog.

I found a bug in the importer when importing from GIMP. GIMP does not save a "preview" like Photoshop do, so if no preview is specified, the preview is generated from the layers. The bug is fixed in the Stickman Alpha version which is accessible today at the download link.

GIMP is similar to Photoshop, except it's free. Google it.

Hi, I'm getting an error message when importing Gimp/psd file "Global image must be same size as working area." It's 1500 x 1500 isn't that correct?

Don't use the Photoshop link for that. Use File->Import->Add Picture. The Photoshop link is for extending the drawing tools in Stickman.

Thanks @bvssvni. I was trying to import in layers the way you did. So I should import arms, legs, etc. each as a separate png file?

Skeletonizer in Elemento, the first window that appears with red, blue and green line. You can use it to make a skeleton and attach pictures on it.

Add the sound, then add a speaker key F9 to the beginning or where you want the music to start. A volume key controls the pan (left/right) and of course, volume.

It can be much more usefull, but just do it when you got time and you feel good.Try to animate a little more and see how things work.

I didn't said that. I said I needed some time to be an animator (and less programmer). Creativity can't be forced up and down you know. What about a "crowd" tool? An editor that let's you select a range for a figure, then it analyzes it and replicates the animation with some options like randomness?

As you said,You don't want to add too much people because you'll have much more to animate,so a great improovement could be the one to copy more frames and paste them onto other figures, for example i got a crowd of people mooving their hands in the air but i animated only 1 person,i can copy that person's animation(frames) and paste it to the rest of the crowd.Or like in Flash, you add a person into a group with all of it's animations, and then you can duplicate and create a crowd with animations
