  • Were you surprised to see different hand guards?

  • @spitfire6942 Most of the time I cant get out of the parking lot with out breaking the hand guards off but these made it 3 rides. Now there gone. I never noticed if they were different.

  • how does the 2012 chassie compare to the 2011 chassie? which do you like better?

  • @88f150lariat The 2011s where the best of all the M series. It should have been because they had been refining it since it was released in 2005 as the M7.That sled will be an icon in the mountains for many years to come. But the new (pro climb)chassis is everything the M series did well and none of the things it struggled with. Very precise, tight feeling when in bouncing over the bumps. It has the best ride I have experienced on a mountain sled, but most of all it WORKS on hill.

  • the xtx was really comfortable to sit and stand on, and I also liked the instant tourqe when the clutch engages, I want to ride a nytro in powder and on the trail though. I am going to eventually get a 2011 m8 though, thats a deffinate.

  • @88f150lariat how can you like the xtx when u are turning circles in front of aih? Just go buy the best, get a cat across from brown jug dan had a nice m8 on the felt board at a good price when I went to get a orange splash flyscreen for my m1100t le 162" this week.

  • thanks for the comparison, I was thinking about getting a 2011 m8 sno pro 153, I am probably still going to get one because I love the way they look. I also like the yamaha nytros, unfortunatly I have only ridin a demo xtx around the parking lot at the yamaha dealer here in Wasilla Alaska, I loved the way it felt though, completely different from my 1998 yamaha vmax sx 700 triple haha.

  • PLEASE, turn up the mic on your camera!

    Besides that, very nice:)
