@felrece No, not at all. I am not descriminated against because I am a Male RN. Although on many days I will get the biggest patients on the floor. Being a male RN, you will get called more often to help pull people up and to help transport because the females need help with that part of the job. Nursing sucks because of greed. Fewer nurses and aids on the floor puts alot more money into the CEOs pocket. Nurses that have been around, vomit when they see these vids- PROPAGANDA.

@felrece Nursing sucks, nothing but corporate greed. I should have no more than four patients based on how sick my patients are. Two wks., ago we went to six patients. One almost died yesterday. Oh well, corporate profits come first.

2010. I went to SU's information session , and the turnout of males in there were an amazing number. I was expecting one or two people. I just saw one expected gay guy, but the others slid by my radar. It looked like a regular group class average of female and male if you were wondering.

I have been a male RN for 15 years.
Cant wait to get out. Most BEDSIDE RNs feel the same way. Only Hospital Admin. and the Lap Dogs pump these BS vids.
