  • so.. did it work?

  • People, was it your money? no. Was it your phone? no. Was it saveable? no. iPhones get damaged faster by water then other phones, rice cant fix it if its been 30 seconds in since the whole phone would be FLOODED. Its not like he did 3 seconds and got it into rice fast. So stop insulting and hating. His phone, his account, his choice. If ur gonna insult him. Your a stupid little bitch with no money. Now get a android phone like i did or GTFO

  • @TsuDhoNym Your acting like a iFan. i can't stand there shit. And your pointing out your argument is invalid and flawed. your comparing apples and grapes now.

  • @TsuDhoNym @iToasterman As for the "iFan" comment, I figured you'd go there eventually but you're quite wrong. I am not a fan of Apple or their products by any stretch of the imagination. They're generally far over-priced, designed to use expensive proprietary connections, docks, and software, and their restrictive OSs stifle customization and innovation. I'm not even defending the iPhone; I'm simply pointing out your statement has no factual basis.

You make a lot of assumptions.

  • You not including touch screens as a source of water entrance is a flaw in your argument, not mine. Depending on the design of the phone, water can and will flow through the gaps between touchscreen and bezel. It can flow in through seams, sim card slots, memory card readers, gaps in physical buttons, speakers, microphones, the headphone jack, etc.

Then one must also consider how well those components are sealed, which is not always observable without opening the device.

  • @TsuDhoNym You are clearly a troll. The general design between phones is, Case:battery:mobo:screen:case. I mentioned NOTHING of touch screens being a source of water enterance. Wow multiple phones have dock connectors. There different. I've looked at apples and water freely flows through them vs other phones. Your basically replying to me to tell me how I'm sooo wrong and your right. On a 2 month old comment. Your a butthurt iFan

  • Also, there are more factors that determine a device's susceptibility to water damage aside from the number and size of the openings and ports. The quality of the seal between the touch screen and bezel plays a factor. Whether the device has a physical keyboard is also something to consider. Then there's also the location of the logic board inside the device, the components used, etc.

  • @iToasterman Who cares how old your comment is? Bad information is bad information and should be corrected. The iPhone is not the only phone with a dock connector. Even if it was, you can't effectively compare a SINGLE Android phone out of many to an iPhone and draw the conclusion that iPhones are damaged by water faster than other phones.

Your time estimates are also based on nothing. How fast an electronic device will be damaged by water is hardly an exact science.

  • @TsuDhoNym 1. The comment is two months old now. 2. What are you trying to prove by trying to prove me wrong? Really? 4. The fact that it has a giant dock connector, two speaker spots and lots of open areas for water to get in fast. My android cell has very little openings can could survive about 2 - 4 seconds under water, A iphone would be flooded within 3. Its based off the design of the device that allows water in or not. iPhone has a more open case and lets more water in and air out. EOS

  • @iToasterman "iPhones get damaged faster by water then other phones"

What exactly is that "fact" based on?

  • You retarded idiot, it hurts me to watch this

  • HELL NAW ... LOL you cold have sold that broken Phone for 50 - 100 dip shit
