Terry Senneker and Jack Varney played bumper tag at the East Vs. West Outlaw Super Late Model Showdown at Dixie Motor Speedway in Birch Run, Michigan. Senneker got a chance to rundown Varney after Mike Luberda stopped on the front stretch to bring out a yellow. Senneker spun, but got his spot back and Varneyu was sent to the rear.

Varney was not to happy with the finish and had some harsh words for Senneker's car owner Terry Gentry. Later Gentry was pushed to the ground in a brief scuffle.

Luberda felt he was not given a fair chance to refuel his car after he dropped off the pace as the leader causing a caution that set up the finish.
