Written and fight directed by Patrick Crean. Shot and directed by A. C. Weary, and stars J. Allen Suddeth, Jeffery Van Thompson, and Allen Schoer. This movie was proposed to (then) students Allen and AC by Paddy, and shot over several weekends in the spring of 1973. Paddy was treated like the royalty he was on location at Old Man's Cave State Park, in southeast Ohio. It was all shot on 1/2 inch b&w reel to reel video, and edited by the head of the OU RTV Department. We had to throw out the original sound track, and overdubbed the voices, did Foley work, and Larry Siegel composed music.I recall 22 hours of work on the sound alone. Part 1 of the movie traces the unlucky journey of a man "Going to see his sister, Caroline." and traveling through Sherwood Forest. This definitely has the hallmarks of the student film that it is, but it's nice to see Paddy's work. Part 2 has the final sword fight between Paddy and J. Allen.
