  • My birthday is tomorrow, I'm scared of what's to come, but brave enough to fight it... 17 sounds like a big number to me but I know it won't last forever... Happy birthday to me!!! :)

  • Aw nuts! I could've been on that commercial! Lol oh well I guess I guess I'm meant for bigger and better things :p

  • The last thing the American Cancer Society wants to do is find a cure - for their multi-billion dollar "charity". Stop funding these people!

  • I have always been a big fan of birthdays. I love this commercial! I now see birthdays in a whole new light .. as a huge achievement! My twin girls would have been 25 on the 25th of June. I am amazed at the resemblance of the girl with the long red hair. Thank you, Helen and Gracie for your gift to mommy.

  • @harveyrex23: the ACS has helped my dad out on numerous occasions and you know what, if you or your family happen to get cancer the ACS will still be there to support you despite the cruel things you said. I will be prayin for you!!

  • A wonderful lady made an American Cancer Society logo impression out of felt. She then had the impression professionally framed. The artwork was then donated to the Punxsutawney Weather Discovery Center on behalf of the entire American Cancer Society.

  • the money that the american cancer society gets goes to help people with cancer. They provide wigs to women who have lost their hair and provide rides to doctor appointments if the people cant get there on their own. the ACS makes sure that people can get the care that they need even if they cant afford it. You obviously haven't loved anyone that has had a battle with cancer otherwise you wouldn't say that.

  • @HarveyRex23 - ACS has funded 44 Nobel prize winners which have lead to amazing progress against cancer. Research verified the link between smoking and cancer. The HPV vaccine could eradicate cervical cancer within 10 years. Research has lead to better and more targeted chemo and radiation. More people are surviving cancer now than any other time in history. Non-profits have open books, you should RESEARCH before posting unsubstantiated claims.

  • The American Cancer Society is nothing more than a for profit industry that generates billions of dollars a year in research and development. The A.C.S. has no interest in finding a cure outside the poison called chemotherapy. I believe one of the major contributors to the American Cancer Society are primarily pharmaceutical and chemical companies. You know, chemicals that causes many cancers.

  • Sure is alot of money for not curing cancer. Give to local poor and sick people, not to a "charity" that does not give anything to the sick and poor. Too many commercials and too much lobbying, not enough to sick people.
