  • The Bike weighs something like 135 Lbs with a motor installed

  • @Thedakidd1 Is the double-drive ring custom built for you or did u just fuse 2 of them together somehow? also i noticed you added an auxiliary spring on the belt tensioner. smart move. i had to do that on my bike as well. i was getting belt slippage when going up hills or into a really strong headwind. great job on the bike!

  • @Kara0ki I simply cut one drive ring down in size useing one of those cheap batery driven skill saws, then used stainless steel screws to put the 2 rings together. The bearings on my clutch drive did go bad, excess forces and weight to handle. So I added a third bearing buy widening the outside plate enough to accept one more bearing, and welding a pieace of tube that I had lieing around to cover the bearing up with. Works great.

  • That is just ridiculous! I could design something better then that in less then five minutes!

  • Wow, that is cool. I can see a LOT of work went into this. It looks good! Must be a dream to ride.

  • @Kara0ki Ah, yes. I can see the tooling marks on the ring @ 3:55. Still a very clean cut. Nice thing about the dual belt is, if ya throw a belt, you can still limp home on 1 belt. But im guessing you would get double the life on the belts since they share the drive load.

  • @idnbi This is a StreetFighter design, found at atomiczombie

  • Yes,we're on the same thinking. I totally agree with you...but here the law prohibits people even these little things...you're right and this is what governments fear: that people begin to move from one, but produce alcohol instead of grain may not be the best way...hunger leads to poorer nations... already happened with fuel oil. Ciao.

  • @gio59con I'm sorry, I'm the one who mis-read your post. I thought you said I was insensitive to this issue. We're on the same thinking, except that I want people to have their own power, not depending on a government or corporation to bring it to their home. We have many energy options, but we're not allowed to develop that power b/c the govs or corps will not make money. What if families could live well on 1 - 3 gallons of alcohol per day, using a small home generator & bikes like this one?
