@artskhan in the second line Tagore writes "Punjab , Sindhu (Indus river)" which are now (partly) in Pakistan.

@artskhan when Tagore wrote this song & gave music tio it (in 1911) - he did not do it for present day India - BUT the erstwhile "undivided India". So, in many ways this belongs equally to Pakistan & Bangladesh.
