More about the Goertz Steinway..

Taking Tradition Into The Future With Steinway:
Steinway & Sons has always recognized special occasions with outstanding special editions: exquisite limited edition, designer grand pianos whose elegant, individual style is inspired by the rich tonal variety that makes each Steinway grand so unique.

More about Goertz...
Goertz
Count Albrecht Goertz, a man with a passion for design and creator of arguably the world's most beautiful sports car - the BMW 507 - has always based his work on the philosophy that an object is finished only when nothing more can be added and, most importantly, nothing can be omitted.

From stylish cars to exclusive fountain pens and functional furniture, the connection between these very different products created by Count Goertz is their timeless aesthetic appeal. His designs are never self-referential or extreme. Rather, he focuses on the essentials, underlining the functional elements of each individual product without introducing distractions.

The same applies to the Steinway anniversary grand, which Count Goertz regards as one of the highlights of his long design career. The "125th Anniversary Limited Edition Grand Piano designed by Goertz" is a unique instrument, characterized by superlative elegance and aesthetics.
