As an Indian, I am grateful for the the British. India is an inheritor of the legacy left behind by the British empire. It is because of them that we have the English language, our vast network of railways, our parliament, our common law system, our military structure, our influence around the world etc. Unfortunately, our corrupt politicians still peddle lies about British colonial exploitation, when in fact the worst exploiters were our own maharajas, and the upper castes.

The list of world powers is long: Mongol empire, roman empire, all the arabic islamic empires, persia, ottoman empire, chinese empire, japanese empire, russian empire, french empire, germany etc. but I think the british empire influenced the world in modern time the most!! We all speak english althought we arent english!! Im from Kosovo and USA and UK liberated my country from serbian terror thatswhy I`m very thankful Allah gave so much power to UK!! The time will come I will also fight for UK!
