Jesse White, seems to be the only logical thinker, in this mess. but I think zelemont is right. The senate will eventually give him the job.

The weak ass senate is considering giving him the seat anyway because they are afraid of looking racist. Who cares about doing the right thing when you can give in to pressure by a select few using the race card. Burris is an arrogant old prick and I dont want him anywhere in my state... let alone its politics.

Who the hell is Jesse White that he can just ignore the Constitution on the basis of this "cloud of suspicion" mess? There is a "cloud of suspicion" over a lot of those Senators' heads.
What happened to the presumption of innocence? Blago hasn't been convicted of anything yet. It is a shame that our democracy is so weak, that every time a story creates media ferver, our politicians are willing to toss out the Constitution.
