Model jet crashes and burns

Back in 2003 this model went down at the SWMAC November turbine meeting. After an engine flame-out it hit hard and eventually the liquid propane tank spewed its contents into the smoldering wreckage.

Boy do these guys know how to have fun!

I believe that is one of the new real jet engines for RC craft? ?? sounds like it. This must be an expensive hobby. But looks like fun.

@xvoy2002 Yes, this is a very old type of model jet engine that runs on propane. Check some of my more recent videos for some far more up-to-date engines and planes. These run on Jet-A1 so are far less inclined to burst into flames (although it does happen).
