@Linogq AX2000 DOESNT HAVE THE HDSDI OUTPUT AND GPS OR THE 128GB FLASH CARD, OTHER THAT BOTH CAMERAS ARE BASICALLY ALIKE.

im just wondering is it better to have the lcd screen on the top where the shotgun mic is on the left or right on the bottom because im thinking of getting a panasonic camcorder i dont know what kind or a sony hvr-z5u

I cannot comment as I have never used the ax 2000 but from reading up on it, the NX 5 has the 128 gb drive you can attach to the side for recording.
Check out the new fs100, I had a workshop on it and got to play around with it.
best bang for your buck BY FAR.

@Linogq not much but the nxcam has hdsdi output which gives professional users full uncompressed hd and sync with other cameras. gps is a bonus feature as well.
