heres my tank, this is my first ever tank so any advice will be helpful, the water seems a little off color, probably because of the driftwood, i boiled it and soaked it overnight like i was told. the pet store said i the water discolor wont hurt the fish and just do weekly water changes and it will clear up. thanks for watching!

  • nice setup but fublebubbles is right! I have 5 bluegill in my setup and 1 of them is very territorial! I'll either let em go in my fav. pond.... or eat em lol . good luck and I think that current/bubble maker is 125 gallons per minute ?I have the same thing/submersible pump that you can hook an airhose up to, pretty neat!-

  • nice looking tank, the bluegill will love all that cover!

how many bluegill/cichlids are you planning on putting in there? the bluegill can get quite large (12" fully grown), and you will eventually run into alot of territorial issues with a 35 gallon if you put more than one or two fish in there.

just my two cents. good luck with the new tank!
