  • Is she using oil or acrylics?

  • Fabulous! Thanks for taking the time to post these. Let me know if she has any workshops. I live in Boise.

  • wonderful work... thankyou

  • For those requesting more videos from Carol (my wife), here you go:

Go to Vimeo and search for Carol Marine (can't put in a URL, it seems)

They are on vimeo because youtube is finicky about allowing the videos with copyrighted music to be viewed outside of the states.

Carol thanks you all for your kind comments.

    Take care,

    - David Marine

  • @hellstooth Thanks for saying this. These guys are just jealous tools. I mean seriously. What asses. Lol!

  • To those who negatively criticize this artist, you are merely showing your inability to understand what constitutes being a brilliant painter. She has mastery of her skill set. She understands and implements correct color value and it's placement. Her understanding and usage of brushwork is mature and, again, masterful. You obviously have no understanding. Those who can, do, those who can't, criticize. Carol, you paint the edges of a dream. Paint on my friend.

  • Thanks Carol .

  • Love the simplicity! Though..NOT so simple! Love your brush stroke! Found myself watching and waiting..with each brush stroke all is coming alive!! Love it!

  • Actually naylofer is correct, it is a poor outcome. Very neurotic paint application, wasting much energy to slowly achieve so little. Poor composition, lackluster observation, weak plasticity, and pasty lackluster colors. I really see no point to such paintings.

  • @naylofer

A poor outcome - are you serious ? If you are you clearly know nothing about painting. As a professional artist of 27 years, this is a superb little painting, full of loose, vibrant brushwork, telling just enough of the story with a FABULOUS outcome! Go get yourself educated in art!
