Sweet Home Chicago - Dirt Road Bluze - Track 1

This is alot better Sound quality then the Other I have Posted, but the video quality is reduced here

Dirt Road bluze Band playing Sweet Home Chicago, (Zak the singer was 15 years old when this was recorded)

This was Zak's first song played at my studio as his audition, His father brought him over and I said lets see what he can do...

I, (Doug) grabed my old 1935 parlor slide guitar, he plugged in his strat and peavey 30 tube amp, I already had the 2 track XY mic set up to record the rooms session, As I only record 2 track live sessions, explained to him how far to sing from the mic and how the XY Mic works, I called the Key and said, lets see what you can do, and proceeded to play what you hear in this video.

Needless to say, he became the lead singer of the production and the studio's electric guitar player,

The video here is a Betty Boop cartoon I cut up for it, nothing special but need a video file to attach the sound file, Its all about the music anyway for me

I will try to add the whole CD that was made with time permitting, and I'm running out of time for play with videos, but non the less, trying to get a few more done before I boogie, :-)

So many versions of this song have been made...

But this one is so coool. The Fender tone with slide guitar on backgroung sound great. It's hard to believe that the singer was 15yo... soulful!
