The legendary Bob Cousy leads the Boston Celtics to their fifth consecutive NBA championship in his final game as a professional. Watch as hall of famers Bill Russell, Sam Jones, Tommy Heinsohn, Elgin Baylor and Jerry West battle it out in the old Los Angeles Sports Arena.

  • This wasn't Cousy's final game as a pro. He played a handful of games as a 41-year-old player-coach for the Cincinnati Royals in the 1969-70 season.

  • Cousy is balling out there!

  • 4:06 "A beautiful shot by West"?

Don't tell the Wynton Marsalises that; Whitey don't play with no soul or "jaaaaaaaaz"-like,according to that "genius". Never forgot those slimy words of his back in the '80s.

  • How was Sam Jones at 9:15 an offensive foul?

  • Awesome!

  • They never call charge anymore! at 9:10 it was actually good defense, but the referee today wouldnt call anything =(

  • @TRJ22487ISDEAD gotta love chris ford. and i guess i meant the 79-80 season lol

  • @MultiRockstar34 Three pointer actually came in 1979 on a strange trial basis, and the next season it became permanent. Chris Ford of the Celtics hit the first one ever on October 12th, 1979 against the Rockets. Some people claim Kevin Grevey of the Washington Bullets really hit the first ever three pointer, who in fact did score a three on October 12th as well. Most sources credit Chris Ford's basket first.

  • I just watched this entire game on NBA TV and Holy ****! A lot of these guys GENUINELY could play today! Everyone thinks of them as slower and less athletic, are you watching some of these guys? I think their speed, passing, ballhandling looks FANTASTIC! 50 years old and it looks as though it could've been yesterday as far as I'm concerned...RIP Red....Celtics forever.

  • Would love to see Cousy's pass at 7:07 only problem is that he faked the crap out of the camera man.
