With such diversity in it's delicate designs, Rosenthal dinnerware appeals to those who search for traditional and contemporary porcelain fine china to create a sense of style and charm. When you're fine dining with guests, a Rosenthal glass, for water to brandy, will take elegance to the next level. For over 130 years, the line Rosenthal developed has remained of the highest quality since the company's inception. With intelligent innovative designs, the patterns ignite life and enjoyment into dinnerware. Do you see how Rosenthal fine china, like the Baronesse collection, can only bring a delight to dining? Wouldn't the contemporary Rosenthal Moon white collection add that elegant charm to enjoying your morning hot beverage? Isn't Rosenthal porcelain rich with innovation, as witnessed in the Tac 02 Covered Sugar bowl?

The company began in castle Schloss Erkersreuth in 1879. The Rosenthal collection made it's first footprint with it's best-seller cigar ashtray, Ruheplatzchen fur brennende Cigarren in 1886. Sculptor Richard Aigner added to today's antique porcelain collectibles in 1911 when he created "Eros" for Rosenthal. In 1931, six Mickey Mouse figurines were produced by the company for Walt Disney. The 1960s brought a studio line Rosenthal created by using a team of experts to determine which design made production. When Bauhaus celebrated it's 75 anniversary in 1994, twelve artists helped design the TAC I collection for Walter Gropius, a designer who was a member of the studio line in 1960s. The Rosenthal classic cigar tray, the china Rosenthal introduced over the decades, and tributes to artists like Eros and Walt Disney, helped build a reputation that the Rosenthal group has continued to improve upon with the same quality we have come to enjoy today.
