  • I just wish Gopro would make their cameras smaller. Its to big and obtrusive to stick on a helmet imo. Would be great if they could make the gopro cylindrical like the contourHD or even smaller, but retain the same great quality as the gopro has.

  • @SoreNitchy The GoPro Wide is an old camera and I agree, the form factor can be a problem for mounting on a motorcycle. We have reviewed many other video cameras since then so check webBikeWorld for the latest reviews, especially the review we did recently of the new Replay XD1080.

  • They are telling the truth about using lithiums. I used brand new basic duracell batteries and they only last 15mins or so. I got some Energizer Ultimate Lithium and they work for hours. I have even used the camera in -20C weather and it filmed for over an hour non-stop. This camera within a year or so is already obsolete.

  • THATS AN OLD ONE! I just got one that has a built in lithium battery and can have a 32gb card in and lots of attachments for helmets etc!

  • best camera ever!!!!

  • 10-4. BTW, we're also in the process of evaluating a new VholR HD 1080p, but the weather has been delaying the process...

  • Higher frame rate should be less likely to happen, since each frame is much shorter.

  • I wonder how a higher frame rate would/wouldn't affect the CMOS "rolling shutter effect"?

  • Aye should do most owners, and considering this is more like a "real" camera rather than the Muvi etc, it's probably got more than 15fps.

The reason why I mention it, is because when moving, and jerking around a higher framerate looks better, and if an accident happens or something, it's better to have higher framerate when youare stepping through.

  • No idea. It takes decent video though, so I'm not sure that the frame rate matters as much to most users. As long as it looks half-way decent on YouTube, which it does, it will probably satisfy most owners.
