My mum bought her wedding gown at a Barnardo's charity shop, it was £70 and she see dd it up a little herself, adding a bit of lace and sparkle. I've seen the photos, she looked beautiful. So much better than many brides who spend a fortune on their dresses.

It's ultimately anyone choices as to how much they want to spend on their gown, but I just think it's insane to spend thousands on a dress that you're only going to wear once, and then stash away in a closet and never look at again for the next 60 years of your life. There are absolutely gorgeous dresses you can get for less than $200.

@SisiL1978 too right! i'm paying 1300 for mine, and it is a STUNNING, high quality boutique design. Some people don't understand the real value of quality over expense.

ive picked my dress from a site that does designer dresses starting from 100 pounds . i dont care for all that kinda thing. i just wanna marry the guy im with and wether im wearing a 100 or 1000 pound dress....it shouldnt matter

@nutshellinchains Too true...My dress cost me £350 and is just a gorgeous as the £2k ones...and I tried them on just for kicks.

This show is about nothing except overweight sows thinking they have a right to DEMAND an expensive dress when they barely can scrape by $3000 and expect to be treated like a princess on a pauper's budget.
Reality check....you dont have enough money to get married stop bothering mommy and daddy for the money.

When the wedding day comes, no one is going to know if your dress was 2K or 20K. These places program you to think you have to spend a fortune. The more expensive dresses aren't necessarily the most flattering or the most beautiful.

Ummm... you can't get a nice dress for ONLY 2k? What planet are these people living on? Many bridal salons have lovely silk gowns with beading and everything for far less.
