Think about the message in this song. Think about where we are in this country, and all the political lies we hear day after day (from all sides, not just the Rs or Ds). There are more of us, and, as Mr. McDonald so well states--we are all brothers and sisters.
Government is not the answer. Honest government is. It is up to each of us to get together, clean house on all the liars who "tell[] [us] the things they're gonna do for [us]". Only then will we enjoy liberty and justice for all.
