  • This is true. It is Orthodox Christianity. NOT "the Greek Church". While the language spoken effects the liturgy in some small ways, the religion is the same whether it is in Russian, Greek, Ethiopian, or English. Most of the differences are cultural, not religious. The faith is the same no matter what.

  • @mitsitia there is; Tridentine Latin Mass canonized by St Pius V and Armenian Orthodox Liturgy of St. Mashtoz

  • Indeed - I could follow along using my English version pretty much the whole thing

  • heavenly!

praise the Lord, forever and ever amen!

  • The Orthodox Liturgy is not a religion but a practice of the Orthodox (Eastern) Church. All Eastern Churches celebrate with a Byzantine Liturgy in their language.

  • ther's no religion like the Greek Orthodox Byzantine Liturgy.
