  • First of all, this is a VOCAL lesson. So I don't even know why some of you are muting it. You have to LISTEN to benefit from it.

She's not screaming, straining or cracking her voice. She's teaching properly. My chorus teacher does vocal exercises the same way.

Second of all, she's doing a wonderful job. Being fifteen, I still need work on my vocals, and these warm ups help (and water). My voice already sounds differently from before starting this video.

    These are awesome videos.

  • This is fun

I REALLY need lessons but i cant afford them, so this is what i do

  • :( No, not off key... But, this is definitely not the proper training technique.. Don't get me wrong, she's probably very skilled as it said in the desc. and she has a pretty voice, but that sound is very unrelaxed... We are never supposed to go into head voice:( Or make our mouths as wide... I still enjoy the fact with the classical approach. :)

  • Hahahahahaha it is weird bit works :)

  • hmm.. she's good though 2 things are where I have little different style of doing, first more thinking that your pulling your sound to yourself and second cheeks should be relaxed..

  • @xPrettyxWeirdx this is good when you are a classical singer. but not POP singing...

  • Is it a waste of money to take singing lessons if you were not born with it naturally? I feel like music is my life and I play 3 instruments, I just wish I could carry a tune... I feel like my voice would be flat.

  • I'm coming off of a cold that didn't do nice things to my voice so I was looking for a simple exercise to get back into shape and found this video. I usually do "ahhs" for the scales (when I DO do scales which is not enough, I must admit). So now I'll give ""dough" a shot. Thank you for sharing this tip.

P.S. I love your red shirt. Kind of hippy like and yet very elegant. Got to get me one. :)

  • @guitarslim56 yea ok

  • @lilithmoon1979 She's not off-key. Her intonation is not perfect, but she's not off-key

  • @halesivy Duh.

  • @sexyvirgostud No she isn't.
